At Elliott Web Design we use the following steps to allow a smooth flow of business proceedures.

Step 1: Research
Step 2: The Brief
Step 3: The Proposal
Step 4: JPG Visuals
Step 5: The Build
Step 6: Browser and Platform Test
Step 7: Delivery

Step 1: Research

This stage allows us to understand your needs and requirements.
During this stage, the meetings you have with us are purely to investigate and understand the overall objectives of your company's business plan and any future strategies you wish to implement.

Step 2: The Brief

Once we feel we have fully encapsulated your requirements and have done sufficient research for us to fully understand your business and market place. We compile a brief, based on this knowledge.
The most important part of the brief is the site plan. This is developed with an overall view of the web site and the strategy we feel best implements your business plan.
The site plan is what determines costing, together with the size and technicalities required.
It is becoming common practice to ask you to provide us with a brief clearly outlining your requirements and specifications.

Step 3: The Proposal

Once you have agreed the proposed site plan, a proposal is compiled in which costings are added.
The proposal is then submitted to you and agreed. If it falls outside of your budget, negotiation evolves where we separate the essentials from the niceties.

Step 4: JPG Visuals

We then start on the look and feel of both the home page and the continued tone throughout your site. Home page visuals and insert pages are submitted to you for your feedback.
A meeting is then scheduled in which you may discuss this feedback.

Step 5: The Build

A stage when the remaining site is constructed and built, together with the necessary technical implementations.

Step 6: Browser and Platform Test

The site is then tested for its architecture, technical ability and effective usability.
This gives us the confidence that we are delivering a site to the standards and expectations that we desire in the quality of our work.

Step 7: Delivery

At last the date arrives, where we are in a position to launch your site. This refers to the action of your site being uploaded onto the Internet and the relevant domain name being made active.
